4. Your Aftercare

Immediately following your surgery, you will return home to rest quietly and sleep with the aid of medication that we will prescribe. Your eyes will be examined the next morning to make sure that you are recovering normally. Almost all of our patients will have 20/20 vision at this visit and will be able to return to their normal daily activities. Your post-operative medications will be started at this visit. On average, there will be three more visits during the first three months so that your normal recovery can be monitored.
